Ancient Hindu Scriptures are an ocean of knowledge. They teach us how to live and how not to live a life. Let's dive together to find some pearls of knowledge from our ancient scriptures. We can enhance our knowledge just by sharing it. I am taking 'Garg Samhita' as my first text to read and share the summary according to my understanding and my views on this sacred text of Radha Krishna, the Divine bond of the divinity itself. Readers' views and an addition to my knowledge are most welcome.

Radha rani descends on earth
On the auspicious eighth day of the bright fortnight of Bhadra month (August–September), at midday, under a cloudy sky, Sri Radha descended into the world in a palace near the Yamuna River, taking birth in the womb of King Vṛishabhanu's wife. Her appearance brought joy to nature—rivers became clear, breezes were sweet, and the heavens showered flowers. Though divine and unattainable even by great demigods or intense penance, Radha was lovingly embraced by the women of Vrishbhanu's household.
Her parents,Kirtida and Vrishbhanu, were previously a royal couple—Sucandra, an ansha-avatara (partial incarnation) of Lord Hari, and Kalavati, a daughter of the Pitras (forefathers). To please Brahma, they performed twelve years of austerity. When Brahma offered a boon, Sucandra requested spiritual liberation. Kalavati distressed at the thought of separation, pleaded with Brahma, threatening to curse him.
To satisfy both, Brahma granted that they would enjoy heavenly pleasures and later take birth on earth in Bharata-Varsha(India). There, Sri Radha, the eternal consort of the Supreme Lord, would be born as their daughter. Through this divine birth, they would finally attain liberation. Thus, Sri Radha's descent was both a divine blessing and the fruit of great devotion.
